End of Year Videos

This first video was created and edited by Evelyn and we LOVE it!  What a treasure to have footage from all of all adventures this year!

This video shows a snapshot of photos of our class from August to May in chronological order.
It is fun to see how much everyone has grown!

Have a WONDERFUL summer and I will see you all soon!

Webinar with Ela, a survivor of the Terezin Concentration Camp, at the National WWII Museum

Fifth grade students were able to hear Ela's story about surviving in Terezin during WWII.  She shared very moving testimony about losing all of her friends and how precious life is and how we should be thankful to be alive.  Her interview was recorded and can be found on the National WWII Museum's website.  Every time we take part in a webinar or virtual tour, we learn so much from the museum!

Project Buddies

We love our Kindergarten project buddies!  This was our last week to meet and read together in the outdoor garden.  Some students worked on reading and others helped their buddy with math in their journals.  What great partnerships that have been created this year!

Project Creation: Electricity and Magnetism

Groups are working on Hoverboard designs using magnets and interviewing a recipient of a metal mitral heart valve and discussing the effects magnets can have on it.
