Groups are brainstorming ideas for their driving questions and formulating what they want to create for their project. The focus of the project is genetics and every group is researching a genetic disease or disorder. They have to use budgeting and personal finance for social studies to determine the cost to raise a child with these disorders and diseases. They must also figure out the probability of children receiving this diagnosis and tie in math. Also, in Language Arts, they are looking at ethical choices of treatment and using persuasive writing to share their claims. We can't wait to see all the ideas each group comes up with as well as how they plan to positively affect lives outside our school building!
