Classification PBL: Our First Project!

Students formed groups based on their interests and we have a group researching deforestation, global warming effects on animals, poaching, bees dying, crossbreeding, and shelter animals.  This week we are finalizing their level three driving questions, creating supporting questions, and beginning the research phase.  All information is on each group's project overview Google Doc.

Levee Lab

Students learned so much today through our levee lab!  They constructed their own towns and levee and had to observe if their town survived all three phases of the flood.  Only one town temporarily made it but would eventually flood once the dirt soaked up water.  We were super excited to be able to type up our lab report and take pictures for our data throughout the lab with the new Wi-Fi in the garden!
