Wonder Movie, Pie in the Face, and Galactic Games!

Our class LOVES read aloud time and we finished our first book Wonder in September and couldn't wait to see the movie together as soon as it came out at the theater.  Sixteen of our students came out with their families to see the movie Saturday morning and we had a blast!  Some students went to lunch together and others decided to stay for another movie as a group; I love the family vibe our class has and we missed the few students that couldn't be there.

Friday during lunch our wonderful room moms coordinated a Pie in the Face activity with games and pie eating!  The students had a lot of fun and Drew was very excited to play against me and I lost! :)

We had great spirit for our shuttle for Galactic Games!

Presentation Day!

Our first presentation day went well!  It was great to see the enthusiasm and passion from students as they shared the compilation of their research from the past few weeks.  After meeting with each group and debriefing, everyone has set goals for our next project and we have already started brainstorming ideas for their next project on WWI/Great Depression!  I am so proud of them!
