This morning I met with a great group of former White Oak fifth grade students who were recommended to teach technology and presentation skills to our current fifth graders. They came in before their school start time and we discussed what they would be teaching (Sony Vegas, iMovie, Wix Web Design, 3D Modeling with Tinkercad, Movie Maker, Presentation Skills, Script Writing, and Parody Work) and looked at how to plan out their session. LMS students will be coming next Tuesday through Friday to teach their session to groups of fifth graders. They did an excellent job planning in their teams (some did not know their co leader) and preparing for next week.
I cannot wait to see them in action next week with students and am excited about our continued partnership with Lanier Middle!
