After an exciting day meeting and working with most of our 7th grade TWIST students, I am ready for a new challenge at a new school and teaching seventh grade social studies. Many faces were familiar as I have taught and worked with many of the students and families, so it already feels like home. Students were given the team task of planning, organizing, implementing, receiving and giving feedback, and reflecting on their design of all TWIST classrooms and collaboration spaces. Their communication, collaboration, and reflection skills were incredible and we are looking forward to how these students will change the world!
We even had a few parents form a group to design the layout for our PBL room!
We cannot wait to meet all students on our team at Open House on the 4th!
